Favre trade

Good move for both teams. The Pack gets rid of the headache to a team in a different conference and the Jets get a much needed qb. My guess is Pennington is probably out. Will this make the Jets a playoff team? No...but they should be more competitive. There have been numerous other hall of fame players who played for a different team at the end of there careers...Unitas, Namath, Montana, O.J., Franco Harris, Tony Dorsett. The only situation that seemed to work out alright was Montana in KC. Jets fans cannot expect Favre to have the kind of year he had last year, but he can make the throws that Pennington can't and he's got the veteran intangibles that Clemens doesn't have yet.
