Saturday College Picks

- I'm taking Florida over Georgia in the annual Cocktail Party in Jacksonville. Urban Meyer wants revenge for Georgia's end zone celebration last year. The Gators have too much speed and they are running on all cylinders at the moment. Emotional win for the Gators.

- The Fightin' Spurriers over the lameduck Fulmer's. The Cocks play sturdy defense and really...you only need to score about 14 points to beat Tennessee this year.

- Texas over Texas Tech. The closeness of this game will be determined by the Longhorns ability to play with passion after having to do so for 3 straight weeks against OU, Mizzou and Ok St. If they are flat, it will be close with Tech having a chance to win. If they show up, it will be a blow out of 56-14 proportions...Tech does not play defense and they really haven't played anybody yet.

- Pitt over Notre Dame. Even though it's at overrated South Bend, Pitt has better athletes and more speed. The Irish really haven't beat anybody decent either.

- Other picks that are not as relevant:
Virginia over Miami,
Minnesota over Northwestern
TCU over UNLV
Ole Miss over Auburn
